Rigas Ferraios Velestinlis was a Greek writer, political thinker and revolutionary. He considered the precursor of the Greek Revolution of 1821 and a national hero.
"Thourios" was the patriotic revolutionary hymn that sewed the seeds of freedom which grew in the hearts of Greeks and PhiHellenes.
Along the same lines finds itself the figure of the "Geros you Moria" , Theodoros Kolokotronis , one of the leading figures of the Greek War of Independence. His admirable courage and love for his nation was an empowerment to a nation who was seeking for his freedom.
