In Odyssey (#19.233), when Odysseus, while pretending to be someone else, is questioned by Penelope about her husband's clothing, he says that he wore a shirt gleaming like the moonlight, referring to the lustrous quality of silk.
During the 19th and early 20th centuries, the Art of Silk was rise at the Northern part of Greece, in a town called Soufli. The region became famous of the textile companies and the manufacturers of Greek silk. Tsiakiris Silk House is one of the remaining silk mills and manufacturer who has all the equipment needed for digital printing on silk.
