MAGNADI for the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation
Posted on May 09 2018
Such an honor of being asked by a foundation like the PanHellenic to design the silk scarves that will be given to the awarded students alongside with their monetary prizes, and making me in this way to be a part of the incredible work they offer to the Hellenic American society.
One of the deepest and most profound themes in Hellenic tradition is the emphasis placed on the role of education in order to create the ideal citizen to help advance the development of civilization (Paideia). More than 2,300 years ago, Aristotle proclaimed, “Education is the best provision for life’s journey.”
Out of respect for this tradition, the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit organization that recognizes and honors exceptional undergraduate hellenic american students, supporting their efforts with significant monetary awards based on academic merit and financial need.
